Fruita Monument was led to victory by Sophie Emerson, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Friday. Emerson posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. The performance marked the most steals she has had since back in January of 2024. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Looking ahead, Emerson and Fruita Monument will be playing in front of their home fans against Montrose at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st. Emerson will face off against Mayce Oberg, the Red Hawks' star small forward. It's not every day two stars like this collide on the court. So who leaves it the victor?
