Los Fresnos had won ten straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped their record up to 23-3-2 to make it 11. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Veterans Memorial Chargers a 3-0 shutout. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

As for Veterans Memorial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games.
