Softball Recap: Edgemont Comes Up Short

Harrison hit Edgemont with a five-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 14-1 to the Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Edgemont now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Harrison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgemont will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ardsley at 4:30 p.m. on May 1. As for Harrison, they will take on Hendrick Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
