Baseball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County lost against Thomasville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Washington County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myles Thornton, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Thomasville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Thomasville, they will face off against Sweet Water at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
