Basketball Recap: Northwest Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fairless last Friday, Northwest came back down to earth. The Northwest Indians had to suffer through a 88-61 loss at the hands of the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Canton Central Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest will take on Canton South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canton Central Catholic, they will square off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Canton Central Catholic's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
