Basketball Recap: Kinsley Comes Up Short

Kinsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 48-15 loss at the hands of the Central Plains Oilers. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Oilers are ranked 63rd).

Kinsley's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Central Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Kinsley nor Central Plains have any future games scheduled.
