Basketball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

Ellsworth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lyons Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly three points.

Ellsworth's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lyons, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lyons beat Ellsworth by a score of 43-40 on Tuesday.
