Tri-Valley has gone 9-1 against West Muskingum recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Scotties are taking a road trip to take on the Tornadoes at 7:15 p.m. Tri-Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Tri-Valley made easy work of Morgan and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tri-Valley was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-12, 25-8.

Meanwhile, West Muskingum lost 3-0 to New Lexington on Tuesday. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While West Muskingum was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into New Lexington's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-9, 25-12.

Tri-Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for West Muskingum, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Everything went Tri-Valley's way against West Muskingum in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Tri-Valley made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scotties since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
