Soccer Recap: Exeter Takes a Loss

After flying high against Firebaugh on Thursday, Exeter came back down to earth. The Exeter Monarchs fell 4-2 to the Porterville Panthers on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Monarchs of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2019.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Porterville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Exeter will be taking part in a tournament against Firebaugh at 11:10 a.m. on Friday. As for Porterville, they will take on Golden Valley in a tournament on Friday.
