Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Ulm). They took down the St. Clair Cyclones 83-69 on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

New Ulm's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for St. Clair, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Ulm will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Worthington at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025. St. Clair also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Waseca at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
