Baseball Recap: Meadville Bulldogs vs. McDowell Trojans
After flying high against Warren on Tuesday, Meadville came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 7-3 to the McDowell Trojans on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.
Meadville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Kliest, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Jacoby Thompson was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meadville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for McDowell, their record is now 12-4.
