Western Reserve and Crestview are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Western Reserve Roughriders will head out to face off against the Crestview Cougars at 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Western Reserve is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since January 10th on Saturday. They lost 61-40 to St. Paul. The Roughriders have struggled against the Flyers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Crestview didn't have quite enough to beat Plymouth on Monday and fell 52-49. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Big Red are ranked 644th).

Western Reserve's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Western Reserve suffered a grim 75-52 defeat to Crestview when the teams last played back in January. Can Western Reserve avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
