Baseball Recap: Citrus Hill Beats Kaiser for Their Third Straight Victory

Citrus Hill won against Hemet last Saturday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Kaiser Cats. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 5-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Citrus Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joel Raya, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The victory (which was Citrus Hill's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games.
