Baseball Recap: Cass Tech Takes a Loss

Cass Tech lost against Allen Park back in June of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Technicians fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 6-5. The Technicians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyle Terry made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. Jordan Spencer was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Cass Tech's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for Allen Park, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-8-1 record.

Coming up, Cass Tech will square off against Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Allen Park, they will challenge Anderson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
