Jace Johnson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
