West Orange entered their tilt with Foundation Academy on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 6-3. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

West Orange got a great performance from Parker Hohnstock as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Hohnstock has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kas Ocasio and Nathan Rich did most of the damage at the plate: Ocasio scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Rich scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Ocasio has posted since back in March of 2024.

West Orange's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Foundation Academy, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-6.

West Orange didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Centennial on the 28th. As for Foundation Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Davenport on the 29th.
