Volleyball Recap: Trinity Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinity Academy lost against Cary Academy back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Chargers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-11.

Cary Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Moore led the charge by getting four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Moore a new career-high. Sadie Goulding was another key player, getting eight digs and three assists.

Trinity Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Cary Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Trinity Academy will face off against Arendell Parrott Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cary Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Durham Academy on the 10th.
