Excel's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Flomaton Hurricanes as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Panthers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Excel's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-12. As for Flomaton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Excel will head out on the road to take on T.R. Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flomaton, they will host Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight.
