Basketball Recap: Section Takes a Loss

Section was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pisgah Eagles. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 65-56.

Section's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-8. As for Pisgah, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Section beat Pisgah by a score of 78-54 on Friday.
