Jordan had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Skyline Eagles. The Beetdiggers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

NIC URCINO looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, CJ SUMNER and GAGE NALDER did most of the damage at the plate: SUMNER scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while NALDER scored a run while going 2-for-2. BECKHAM LIVINGSTON was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Jordan's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Skyline, they moved to 5-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Jordan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
