Soccer Game Preview: Neshannock vs. South Side

The Neshannock Lancers will face off against the South Side Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Neshannock's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while South Side has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Neshannock fell victim to Eden Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eden Christian Academy. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Neshannock came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while Eden Christian Academy are ranked 368th).

Meanwhile, South Side lost 5-1 to Freedom Area on Tuesday.

Neshannock's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-2. As for South Side, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Neshannock took their win against South Side in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
