For the first time this season, Chester will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Eau Claire Shamrocks at 7:30 p.m. Chester will be strutting in after a victory while Eau Claire will be coming in after a defeat.
On Friday, Chester blew past Keenan, posting a 35-6 win. That looming 35-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cyclones yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Feaster, who rushed for 160 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries. Feaster's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 112 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of T'Mari Caldwell, who rushed for 98 yards and one score on only nine carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chester was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 424 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Chester didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jakobe Starks-Wright.
Meanwhile, Eau Claire ended up a good deal behind Pelion on Thursday and lost 48-30. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Shamrocks, who until this matchup were averaging 13.67 points allowed.
Chester will have to contain LAQUARIUS SUMMERS as he made an impact in Eau Claire's last game. He picked up 169 receiving yards and one TD.
The victory got Chester back to even at 3-3. As for Eau Claire, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Chester has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 299.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Eau Claire struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 248.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Chester against Eau Claire in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-0 win. Do the Cyclones have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Shamrocks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
