Josh Roberson Turns in Season-Best Effort

On Thursday, Chapel Hill got the W thanks in part to Josh Roberson playing the best football he has all season. Roberson rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Riverside-Durham's probably not too fond of Roberson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Roberson last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown.

Tyler Jackson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

Tyler Jackson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chapel Hill to the win on Thursday. Jackson rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.

If the past is any indication, Jackson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Northern Durham on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jackson saw the Knights), he rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Blue Posts Huge Game in 56-0 Win

Jordan found a leader in Amareon Blue as the team took down East Chapel Hill on Thursday. Blue turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 90 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown.

If the past is any indication, Blue could be in store for another big game when he takes on Riverside-Durham on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Blue saw the Pirates), he rushed for 154 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries.

Jamarion Ross Dazzles in Riverside-Durham Loss

While Jamarion Ross delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Riverside-Durham. Ross was dynamite, rushing for 155 yards on only 15 carries, while also picking up 34 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Ross will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Jordan on Friday. Ross will face off against Amareon Blue on Friday, the Falcons' star rusher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Christian Cook Makes Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Christian Cook of Hillside. Cook rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Hillside has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. Cook will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against East Chapel Hill on Friday.
