Football Recap: Preuss UCSD Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Preuss UCSD unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 60-0.

The victory keeps Mater Dei Catholic at an undefeated 9-0.

Coming up, Preuss UCSD will head out on the road to challenge High Tech CV on Tuesday. The contest will give the Tritons their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mater Dei Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Academy of Our Lady of Peace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
