Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was the 1-0 winner over Powell when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Panthers who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Powell Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Mountain View Buffalos' four. Mountain View have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Powell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Mountain View has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 defeat against Cody on the 10th. As for Powell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Lyman on the 10th.
