Baseball Recap: Patterson Beats Gregori for Their Sixth Straight Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Patterson took on Gregori on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 5-2. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Cole Medina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caden Lozano, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Chagoya, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Patterson's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Gregori, their record is now 16-6.

Coincidentally, Patterson and Gregori will both be playing Atwater the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will head out to face the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
