Baseball Recap: Rowlett Eagles vs. South Garland Titans
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rowlett). They never let the South Garland Titans get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Jordan Casillas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Casillas was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Grady Holmes was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Jeff Claycomb was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
