Matthew Delaney put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. He struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.

Delaney's effort led Albuquerque Academy over Lovington and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
