Baseball Game Preview: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Westerville South Wildcats

The Worthington Kilbourne Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Westerville South Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Worthington Kilbourne came up short against Westerville North and fell 6-3.

Worthington Kilbourne saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Pullins, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Westerville South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Worthington Kilbourne.

Chase Crawford made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Westerville South, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Worthington Kilbourne came out on top in a nail-biter against Westerville South when the teams last played on Friday, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
