Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Tompkins

The Jordan Warriors will head out to face off against the Tompkins Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jordan is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Last Tuesday, Jordan beat Katy Taylor 3-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Jordan's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Katy Taylor are ranked 30th).

Jordan hit Katy Taylor with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julius Dzamesi, Victor Diab, and Francisco Acosta.

Meanwhile, Tompkins' game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Katy 2-1.

Jordan's record now sits at 11-7-2. As for Tompkins, their record is now 10-7-3.
