Softball Recap: Petoskey Takes a Loss

Petoskey's last matchup with Rogers City could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Northmen lost 12-2 to the Hurons.

Petoskey has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season. As for Rogers City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Petoskey will head out on the road to square off against Boyne City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ramblers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Northmen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Rogers City, they will venture away from home to take on Rudyard at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
