Basketball Game Preview: Banquete Bulldogs vs. Orange Grove Bulldogs

Banquete hasn't had much luck against Orange Grove recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Banquete Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Orange Grove Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m.

Last Thursday, Banquete came up short against Hebbronville and fell 49-38. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Orange Grove had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Hebbronville 61-38 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since December 14, 2024.

Banquete's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Orange Grove, their win bumped their record up to 11-14.

Banquete came up short against Orange Grove in their previous meeting on January 3rd, falling 68-58. Can Banquete avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
