Soccer Game Preview: Eugene vs. Waynesville

The Eugene Eagles will challenge the Waynesville Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Eugene is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Boonville just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Eugene couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Waynesville sidestepped Osage for a 2-1 victory. Waynesville haven't had any issues with Osage recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Waynesville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
