Baseball Recap: Grainger Takes a Loss

Grainger was the 13-9 winner over Unicoi County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Grizzlies lost 11-1 to the Blue Devils on Saturday. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grainger saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor May, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Grainger's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Unicoi County, their record now sits at 15-8.

Looking ahead, Grainger will venture away from home to take on Volunteer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Unicoi County, they will take on Tennessee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
