Garrett has gone 8-2 against Fort Wayne Snider recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Railroaders will host the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Garrett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Garrett was able to grind out a solid win over Prairie Heights, taking the game 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Railroaders.

Ashlee Vanderbosch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Atalie Gullett, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Peyton Grindstaff was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Fort Wayne Snider's offense. They lost 11-0 to South Adams on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Starfires recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Fort Wayne Snider saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ameera Kummer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Fort Wayne Snider's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Garrett, their victory bumped their record up to 18-8.

Garrett beat Fort Wayne Snider 11-7 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Railroaders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
