After losing to Clemens the last time they met, Friendswood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Nadiya Shelby paced Friendswood's offense, picking up ten kills. Shelby got some help from Caroline Adams and her ten assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Friendswood's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Clemens, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Friendswood will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Goliad at 10:00 a.m. As for Clemens, they will take on Shadow Creek at 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
