Volleyball Recap: Minooka Comes Up Short

Minooka saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Belleville East Lancers.

Luke Kirin paced Minooka's offense, picking up seven kills. Kirin got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his 11 assists.

Minooka has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Belleville East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-6.

Minooka didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Aurora on the 3rd. As for Belleville East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Lincoln-Way West on the 3rd.
