Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Liberty lost against Pine Creek back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lancers lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-17.

Kaia Booher paced Liberty's offense, picking up eight kills. Booher got some help from Alyssa Willcox and her 12 assists. Finally, Makenzie Praytor kept Liberty's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Anna Parzych was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 16 assists and seven digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Megan Ury also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pine Creek, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Liberty is set to challenge their familiar foe Fountain-Fort Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pine Creek will take on rival Rampart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
