Recap: Servite Friars vs. Orange Lutheran Lancers
The Servite Friars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 68-46 defeat at the hands of Orange Lutheran. Servite has not had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Servite still got an impressive performance from Alex Pak, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Servite struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Servite has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Orange Lutheran, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Servite will challenge the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. JSerra Catholic is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Orange Lutheran, they will head out on the road to square off against the Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. John Bosco will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.
