The Aledo Bearcats will face off against the Ryan Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Aledo is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 55-0 victory over Arlington Heights. The Bearcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

It was another big night for Brady Powell, who rushed for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries. Those 201 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Kaden Winkfield was another key back, rushing for 66 yards and three scores on only seven carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Aledo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Another reason for the win was Aledo's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Carson Dempsey, JoJo Cooper, and Roland Krieger, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Ryan really took it to Richland for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-10 victory. The Raiders have beaten the Royals the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Royals has come to flipping the script.
Ryan's win came from a few key players Aledo will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Quin Henigan, who threw for 227 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Tre'Vaughn Reynolds helped Henigan out on the ground, rushing for 135 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.
Aledo's win bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Ryan, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
Aledo won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in October, slipping by Ryan 15-14. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
