Basketball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

If Plainview was riding high fresh off their 84-11 takedown of Lubbock on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 67-45 to the Tascosa Rebels on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost seven in a row.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Tascosa, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Plainview is set to face off against their familiar foe Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tascosa will challenge rival Caprock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
