Soccer Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Peotone

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peotone). They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies on Friday. It was an even better day for Allie Werner as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the sixth in a row for Peotone, bringing their record up to 8-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six matches. As for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.
