Volleyball Recap: Greenon Comes Up Short

If Greenon was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Triad last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 3-0 to the West Liberty-Salem Tigers on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Among those leading the charge was Reagan Winters, who had 17 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups. Kenna Wright also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Greenon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for West Liberty-Salem, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Greenon is taking a road trip to challenge West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Liberty-Salem, they will take on Greeneview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
