Volleyball Game Preview: Kelly Walsh Trojans vs. Green River Wolves

Kelly Walsh is a perfect 10-0 against Green River since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will head out to challenge the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kelly Walsh comes in on 19 and Green River on seven.

Kelly Walsh is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Evanston, who was ranked 11th at the time (Kelly Walsh was ranked first). The Trojans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Devils on Saturday.

Jenee Cantrell was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Green River made easy work of Riverton on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-8.

Kelly Walsh's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Green River, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

Kelly Walsh took their win against Green River in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
