Softball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Blue Devils. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bedford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmerson Larochelle, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Larochelle has snagged this season.

Bedford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Salem, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coincidentally, Bedford and Salem will both be playing Nashua North the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host the Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blue Devils will host them at 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
