Woodstock and Sequoyah are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Woodstock Wolverines will head out to square off against the Sequoyah Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodstock is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Morghan Slater, who posted 16 points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bree Rogers, who had ten points.

Meanwhile, Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by Creekview and fell 65-33.

Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Sequoyah, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Woodstock beat Sequoyah 59-49 in their previous meeting on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodstock since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
