            The Ridgedale Rockets are taking a road trip to  take on the Newark Catholic Green Wave  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Ridgedale's favor is that they have posted at least ten  runs  in their last three matches.
Ridgedale saw some tournament action  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Berne Union with a sharp  18-1 win. The  victory continues a trend for Ridgedale in their matchups with Berne Union: they've now won four in a row.

 Kenzie Delaney made a big impact no matter where she played. She  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and seven  RBI while going 3-for-4. What's more,  she posted two  runs, the most she's  had since back in May of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Alexa Garnes was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Adyson Thomas was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Ridgedale was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .531. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Newark Catholic fell victim to Newark and their airtight pitching crew  on Saturday. They came up short against  the Wildcats, falling  25-0.
 Newark Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Veronica Bailey (2026), who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple.
 Ridgedale's record is now 11-6. As for Newark Catholic, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
 Ridgedale might still be hurting after the  11-1 defeat they got from Newark Catholic  when the teams last played  back in May of 2021. Can the Rockets avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
