Florida Christian III (6 Man) recap Nov. 7, 2012

Clearwater Academy International extended the longest winning streak in Florida Christian III (6 Man) this week by beating Hillsborough Baptist, 71-25. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool took down Old Plank Christian Academy 67-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jacob Couch threw for 124 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Dallas Fredrickson chipped in 78 yards. Grant Sims helped Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's passing attack out by catching three balls for 50 yards.

Caleb Couch was the best wideout in the league this week as John Catlin's team beat Old Plank Christian Academy. Couch racked up three receptions for 60 yards.

Caleb Nowinski made the biggest impact on defense this week as Families Instructing Students HomeSchool bested Old Plank Christian Academy. The defensive lineman grabbed two sacks.

Thanks to the talents of Couch and Tim Warren Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Couch leads the league in passing with 878 yards, while Warren has rushed for 1322 yards this season. Geneva Classical Academy's Ethan Whitehurst leads the league in receiving yards with 513 on 16 catches.

City of Life Christian Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 675 from 758. The improvement came about via a 62-29 victory over First Coast Christian last week.
