Basketball Recap: Knoxville Catholic Comes Up Short

Knoxville Catholic suffered their closest loss since December 27, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions by a score of 50-47. The Fighting Irish were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Knoxville Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Knoxville Catholic nor Christ Presbyterian Academy have any future games scheduled.
