Baseball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson fell victim to Fairfield and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to the Falcons. The Warriors have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Fairfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will venture away from home to square off against Sacramento at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.85 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fairfield, they will head out to challenge Armijo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
